How it works?

In just 3 steps, you can send money to more than 150 countries around the world. Open an account with us for free, request the currency and amount you want to send and you will be quoted a rate. If you are happy you will confirm the rate, pay the amount into a segregated bank account and we will securely transfer the money to the recipient.

What are the charges?

Horizon Currency do not charge any commission or fees when you transfer money and instead incorporate all costs into the final exchange rate we transact at. We offer you a guaranteed exchange rate so the rate you book is the exchange rate  Horizon Currency are transparent when coming to charges and fees.

How secure are you?

Horizon Currency's payments provider Global Currency Exchange Network Ltd is authorised by the FCA under the Payment Services Regulations, 2017 (Registration number 504346). Registered as a Money Services Business, regulated by HM Revenue & Customs (“HMRC”) under the Money Laundering Regulations 2017. (Registration number is 12137189). Registered in England and Wales. Client money is held in segregated client 'safeguarding' accounts using our global Tier 1 banking partners. It means all client funds are held separately from any company money or assets in order to comply with regulations.

What countries can use our service?

Depending on your country of residence we may require additional documentation such as proof of address and additional proof of identity. We will request any documents required.

Does Horizon currency charge any fees?

We charge you no fees and no commission when you make your international money transfers via our Online service. However, in some cases there may be a charge placed by your recipient’s bank to receive the money, which is out of our control.

How much money will I save?

Your actual saving will depend on many factors such as volume, currency, your bank and even the time of the day.

High street banks can typically charge anything up to 5% on each transaction whilst private banks and premier accounts may charge less. Regardless of size, currency and bank, we can provide a free quote and will be able to compare this to your bank rate to tell you your exact saving before you go ahead and make the transaction.

Can I book transactions online?

Can I cancel an online transaction?

Yes, but you are required to do this within a 24 hour period and you should be aware that a cancellation could incur a cost due to moves in the exchange rate.

When will I know the payment has arrived and how long will the payment take to arrive?

We will delver your currency the quickest available timeframe but due to different time zones and working hours sometimes the payment could arrive the next working day.
